Chris Lewis was born in North Adelaide on August 1, 1955 but moved to Western Australia at age 20 to begin a career which saw him become arguably WA’s greatest trotting reinsman.

He has driven over 4000 winners in WA, 2000 of those on city tracks. A winner of Interdominion races, Lewis represented Australia again in 2011 at the World Driver’s Championships in the USA.
