Nominees must be eligible to represent WA and:
- Be a product of the WA sport system residing in WA.
- Be a product of the WA sport system residing interstate or overseas and eligible to represent Australia.
- Have relocated to the WA sport system and are resident in WA. The nominee must have been a resident for at least two years to be eligible.
- Performances for which an individual can be nominated must take place before their 19th birthday and within the nomination period of 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025. (example: a person turning 19 years old on 30 September 2025 could have any performance from 1 December 2024 up to and including 29 September 2025 presented for consideration. Any performance after this date is ineligible for consideration)
- Level of competition/s participated in
- Outstanding achievement/s during the nomination period (at State, National and / or International level)
- Significance of achievements and contribution to their sport
Interpretation: ‘Product of the WA sport system’ – Contribution or participation in the WA sports system for a minimum of three years.
To be eligible for nomination in the WA Sport Awards, nominees must be endorsed by a SportWest Member Organisation using the official endorsement form provided.
