Belmont Saints Squash Club
Belmont Saints Squash Club has shown extraordinary leadership and resilience, saving the State Squash Centre from closure and transforming it into a modern, welcoming hub for players. In 2025, the club secured over $38,000 in grants, invested in major facility upgrades, and hosted marquee events including junior tournaments and national championships. With initiatives like Mental Health Week Squash Night, volunteer recognition events, and financial support for junior athletes, Belmont Saints proves that community sport is about connection, care, and opportunity.
Hamersley Rovers Junior Football Club
Hamersley Rovers JFC is more than a football club—it’s a community where families feel supported and children thrive. In 2025, the club registered 676 players, achieved its highest-ever female participation, and introduced programs like Girls Lil Hammers to create safe pathways for young girls. Hamersley champions True Sport principles through mental health workshops, inclusive policies, and wellbeing initiatives. From fee support for families in hardship to boot exchanges and cultural inclusion, Hamersley is setting the benchmark for care, resilience, and leadership in community sport.
Karratha Kangaroos Junior Rugby League
Karratha Kangaroos JRL has redefined what’s possible for regional sport. Growing participation by 64% in one year, introducing Girls League Tag, and earning national recognition as the NRL Community Club of the Year, KKJRL is a powerhouse of inclusion and innovation. The club’s impact extends beyond the field—hosting clinics for 200+ school students, fundraising for mental health initiatives, and leading community events like the 36-hour Telethon Runathon. With 25% female participation and strong Indigenous representation, KKJRL proves that heart, teamwork, and resilience can overcome any distance.
