The Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) is the peak high-performance sporting organisation in Western Australia. WAIS enables and supports WA athletes to achieve success on a national and international level.
WAIS are looking for a Performance Psychologist to support our athletes in developing the psychological skills essential for their success in achieving program objectives. This role will involve managing mental health risks that arise in the pursuit of high performance and will ensure athletes’ well-being remains at the forefront of all performance-driven goals. Please note, this role has a maximum term of 4 years with the potential to extend.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative key player in providing holistic athlete support. You will support the Psychology and Wellbeing Lead to drive practice standards across the organisation.
