The Rowing Association of Western Australia Inc (Rowing WA) is the State Sporting Association responsible for the development, promotion and governance of the sport of rowing throughout Western Australia. Rowing WA is a not for profit organisation which is governed by the Board of Rowing WA.
This position will manage the day-to-day implementation of Rowing WA’s club, coach, official and athlete development initiatives that enhance the recruitment and retention pathways for each of these stakeholder groups. It will also deliver regattas and events portfolio, alongside the Events Manager.
This role is also responsible for driving member engagement through effective communication strategies across Rowing WA’s digital platforms, newsletters, website and other member-focused channels. It involves delivering engaging content, maintaining a consistent online presence, and ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information to members, stakeholders, and the public.
The position requires a highly motivated and energetic individual with strong communication, relationship-building, event management, and organisational skills. The ability to forge a close working relationship with Rowing WA affiliated bodies, staff, volunteers, and other key stakeholders will be essential to the successful achievement of this position’s objectives.
