An amazing opportunity exists for positive, energetic and proactive individuals with a passion for community sport programs and competitions to join our Swan Active Team in a casual capacity, as a Sports Program Team Leader, based at Swan Active Midland.
As the Sports Program Team Leader, you will be reporting to the Sports Program Supervisor. You will assist Swan Active’s development and growth of our multi-disciplinary programs, which include supervising social sports competitions (Netball, Basketball, Indoor Futsal, Volleyball etc), assist with coaching programs and delivering exceptional front line customer service.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who have a good understanding of the sport and recreation industry trends and practices and the ability to foster a positive, supportive and collaborative working environment.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
- Provide high-quality customer service to people of all ages and abilities.
- Assist in the development and upskilling of coaching and umpiring staff.
- Assist in the promotion and enhancement of the centre’s sports programs, ensuring competitions are always at a high level of preparedness each week.
- Ability to have an on-floor presence to supervisors staff, monitor programs, competitions and bookings.
- Ensure that daily cleaning and maintenance procedures are adhered to, and the centre is maintained in accordance with the high standard of cleanliness and hygiene required.
