SportWest has extended its partnership with SportsLink Travel for a further two years, with the leading sports travel business continuing as the organisation’s preferred travel and tour partner.
SportsLink Travel brings a strong history and deep understanding of sporting tours, with an expanded presence in Western Australia following the addition of new staff to its WA operations. Through the renewed agreement, SportWest Members will continue to benefit from commercial returns, including rebates, to enhance their travel experiences and deliver value back to sport in WA.
SportWest CEO Troy Kirkham said the extended partnership reflects the important role SportsLink Travel plays in supporting the state’s sporting community.
“The expertise and quality of service offered by SportsLink Travel is invaluable to the many WA groups travelling across Australia and internationally to participate in sport.
“This longer-term partnership is one we value highly, and it will continue to deliver great experiences for WA sports groups who proudly represent their clubs and our state,” Mr Kirkham said.
SportsLink Travel CEO Paul Kelly said the company was excited to extend its connection with SportWest, as the business continues to grow across Australia, and in particular WA.
“We’ve been providing travel services to WA athletes, teams and events for more than 20 years. To strengthen our ties with WA sporting organisations, we’ve invested in the growth of local, Perth-based support alongside Commercial Manager Shane Tonkin.
