SportWest, the peak industry body for sport in Western Australia. SportWest exists to provide leadership, advocacy and enhance the capability of the Western Australian sport and active recreation industry to collectively improve the wellbeing of our community. We represent more than 150 members and over 5,500 sporting clubs involved in the conduct, administration, promotion and development of sport and active recreation.
The SportWest Board is responsible for the strategic leadership of SportWest, our mission is for all Western Australians to be connected and engaged in sport and active recreation.
Nominations are currently being sought from suitably qualified and eligible individuals who wish to be considered to serve as an Elected Board Member of SportWest for a term of three years on a voluntary basis.
The SportWest Board is seeking candidates to fill two Elected Board member positions, who can address at least one of the following identified priority areas of skills and experience:
- Public Policy and Advocacy
- Human Resources
- Sport Administration Experience
All nominees wishing to seek election for one of the two vacancies will need to complete and lodge the Nomination Form to SportWest no later than 5pm, Wednesday 8 October, 2025. Nominations should emailed to the contact in the nomination form.
