A strong West Australian team of 53 will head to Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games.
It is the biggest squad Western Australia has ever sent to Commonwealth Games. The previous best was the 38 athletes who travelled to Delhi in 2010.
SportWest wishes all of the WA athletes all of the best.
