Nominees must be eligible to represent WA and:

• Be a product of the WA sport system residing in WA.
• Be a product of the WA sport system residing interstate or overseas and eligible to represent Australia
• Have relocated to the WA sport system and are resident in WA. The nominee must have been a resident for two years to be eligible.

• Level of competition/s participated in.
• Outstanding achievement/s during the nomination period (at State, National and / or International level).
• Significance of achievements and contribution to their sport.

Interpretation: ‘Product of the WA sport system’ – Contribution or participation in the WA sports system for a minimum of seven years.

To be eligible for nomination in the WA Sport Awards, nominees must be endorsed by a SportWest Member Organisation using the official endorsement form provided.
