SportWest has partnered with ActiveXchange as its Preferred Community Sport Data Provider.
The partnership will provide an opportunity for limited SportWest Members to engage with the ActiveXchange award winning “SportsEye” online intelligence platform.
The platform is designed to translate existing membership data into powerful insight to guide future participation growth and infrastructure planning.
SportWest Chief Executive Officer Matt Fulton said the partnership was an exciting opportunity for sports in WA.
“In a first for WA sport, SportWest Members will have the opportunity to express interest in participating with “SportsEye” to overlay the participation data from their sport with various data sets,” Mr Fulton said.
“This technology will take the guess work out of interpreting data for sports and allow them to build strong business cases for further investment as well as guide their programs to increase participation and get West Australians active.”
ActiveXchange Chief Executive Officer James Ellender said ActiveXchange was looking forward to the partnership with SportWest.
“We are really looking forward to the collaboration ahead in Western Australia alongside SportWest and its Members, to embrace the role and importance of data and technology in shaping a more informed, connected and active sector,” Mr Ellender said.
“This is a big step forward in using predictive analytics and data intelligence to create clear lines of sight on market intelligence, health and wellbeing impacts, identifying high growth areas and understanding what is and is not working, fast tracking the data transformation of sporting organisations, regardless of their size or experience with data.”
Information sessions will be provided for SportWest Members in coming weeks, ahead of an Expression of Interest process late in September.
