SportWest successful for AIM WA Community Training Grant 2024

SportWest are thrilled to be announced as a successful applicant in the AIM WA Community training Grant (organisation category) for 2024.

Thanks to the Australian Institute of Management WA (AIM WA), SportWest staff will now have access to specialised training programs that aim to increase the capabilities of the individuals, to better service our members and broader industry.

Jasmine Cappellucci, True Sport Manager, noted “SportWest are delighted to be selected as a grant recipient of the AIM WA Community Training grant. As a not-for-profit organisation, this funding provides the organisation with the opportunity to upskill our people in areas such as leadership, financial literacy, management and communications”.

“AIM WA is a leading management and leadership training organisation, providing practical training courses in contemporary business practices. It is an invaluable opportunity to ensure we continue to develop our internal capabilities and expand our knowledge base, prepare our people for career advancement opportunities and better service our members and our West Australian sporting sector”.

AIM WA’s Community Training Grants are part of the Institute’s ongoing commitment to building leadership and management capabilities within the not-for-profit and charitable sectors of the community and support the vital work undertaken by the not-for-profit sector.

SportWest would like to formally thank AIM WA for being selected as a successful recipient of this year’s Community Training Grant and for supporting the not-for-profit sector in Western Australia.
