Following an incredible month, Mitchell Durham has been awarded, the rebel Sport Champion for the month of May.

Mitchell was selected to represent Australia at the 2023 Karate 1 – Premier League in Rabat, Morrocco on May 12 – 14 2023. This event is part of a series of league events run by the World Karate Federation for the Senior Athletes in the world. Mitchell came third in the Kumite 75 kg division. This is the first time in over 10 years that Australian male athlete has had a podium finish in the league events. Mitchell results now see him ranked 23 in world.
