We’re thrilled to have been announced as a winner at the 2023 Australian Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Awards in the category of “Social Value of Participation” presented in Melbourne as part of the National Sports Convention.
The award follows the release of the Sport in Western Australia: Social Return On Investment report released in August last year and provides fantastic recognition of the value of community sport in WA.
A big thank you to the SportWest Members who made a valuable contribution to this report and to ACIL Allen who were commissioned who calculated that organised sport in WA delivers $10.3 billion in economic and social value each year.
